Our research shows Gen Z attention is conditional, not short. Context dictates whether they tune in for thirty seconds or stay for thirty minutes. The contexts that unlock long-form attention are precisely the ones most brands fail to map.

The methodology: quant at scale, qual in depth

This is a genuinely combined piece of research.

Discurv ran the quantitative leg with more than 5,000 French respondents. Statistical scale, fine segmentation, and the structural patterns only volume can surface.

Verso ran the qualitative leg with 50 in-depth AI-led video interviews powered by AskVerso. Each was around 20 minutes, asynchronous and AI-moderated, designed to surface emotional language, contradictions, and the lived experience behind the numbers.

The combination is the point. Quant tells you what and how many. Qual tells you why. Reading one without the other on a generation this misunderstood is how brands keep making the same expensive mistakes.
